Tax Estimator - Welcome

Thank you for visiting the MPPI Taxpayer Estimator. This application estimates how much financial support you provide for various government activities such as national defense, public safety, education, health care (including Medicare and Medicaid) and public pensions (Social Security).

You provide this funding directly through taxes and fees paid to government agencies. Arguably, you also provide this funding indirectly through taxes and fees paid by your employer, by merchants who provide you with goods and services, and by businesses that you have invested in directly or indirectly (through retirement funds and savings). You also provide this funding through government borrowing, which represents a future tax liability.
