BALTIMORE (WBFF) - Baltimore's top prosecutor under fire for the tens of thousands of dollars in free airfare and hotel accommodations she's accepted.

As Baltimore's top prosecutor flew around the world to check out prisons in Germany, and the prosecution of drug possession cases in Portugal in Baltimore violence stripped families of their loved ones. This was happening as Marilyn Mosby was gallivanting around the world.
 

Germany, Portugal, Africa, and Scotland are just some of the places Baltimore's top prosecutor traveled to over the past two years.
 

Marilyn Mosby accepted around 30 thousand dollars in airfare and hotel stays over the past two years.
 

We found in 2019 following Mosby's re-election Mosby's free trips picked up substantially.
 

Based on figures contained in Mosby's financial disclosure forms and found in 2019 she was physically out of the office for nearly 3 months.
 

Mosby earns an annual salary of more than 238 thousand dollars a year .
 

A spokeswoman said every time the State's Attorney has traveled, "...It has been to deepen her knowledge of alternative approaches to criminal justice."
